A very quick post!
I'm just back in from shooting a portrait session in Comber with Ryan and Robbie. I had photographed Robbie around a year ago, just before his 1st birthday, so I was looking forward to see how he had grown in the year since I last saw him.
A year before that I made a wish list and at the top of that list was the following wish:
* I'd like to have my photographs in people's homes, all over the world *
When I made that wish, I was talking about my landscapes. And when I began to take portraits, I forgot that wish and didn't think about it again until approx 11am this morning...
I walked into their home and the first thing I saw was a beautiful black and white framed photograph and it was half a second later when I realised that it was a photograph of mine that I had taken a year ago of Robbie.
When their Mum and Grandmother saw how delighted, shocked and surprised I was, they said that that wasn't all, and they carried down another large frame, with 6 more of my pictures.
So this is a simple thankyou.
You made my day.
I may not be conquering the world with my landscapes, but getting as far as Comber with my portraits makes me just as happy =)
