On the 29th December I woke up to a blustery cold cold day! And, pretty much the weather just got worse! But James and Alison did not let the weather dampen their love for each other. James and Alison happily stood out in the freezing cold (although you'd never be able to tell from their expressions) and boy did they bring it to the camera! A little trifle like the weather wasn't about to dampen their big day.
It was pretty cold in the foyer to the church, but you wouldn't be able to tell looking at these two!
Ali arrived a fashionable half hour late!
I love this. The room they signed the register in was very small so only Bride, Groom and witnesses were allowed in until the legal part was out of the way, but I love that Ali turned round and did this =)
I have a clear shot of this same set up, but this one where the wind whipped Ali's veil to my camera is my fave!
MAJOR thanks has to go to The Manor Cafe in Donaghadee and that they let us in to their gardens (which is currently closed for Winter) for photographs. Had we not been able to get in I would only have been able to get indoor shots as by this stage the wind had gone wild. This gem of a garden is surrounded by walls, and protected from the wild winds, which in turn gave us the opportunity to get some awesome photos =)
Gorgeous
Their reception was held in the newly re-built Sailing Club in Donaghadee, and what they created in the inside especially for Alison and James's big day was nothing shot of breathtaking
I know you were hoping to arrive to your honeymoon just in time to get to the closest beach with glasses of wine and to celebrate the new year together on the beach, and I hope that that was the case. Have an amazing 2010 and I will see you soon xox
