Gareth and Sheryl {Engagement Session}

Like the lovely Issy and Noel before them, I met Gareth and Sheryl literally moments before I began to photograph them. They were slightly nervous and warned me they could cope with having their photos taken as long as they didn't have to look at the camera!

We had literally shot some frames for a few mins before the heavens opened and the rain began to bounce off the ground! We ran for cover under the trees and we knew it wasn't about to go in a hurry so I brought out my fave umbrella and blanket...

The rest of the photos were planned where we could find coverage from the rain and I have to say these are my fave shots to date

Whenever I photograph people I usually always think they remind me of someone. I have to say Gareth reminded me of Joshua Jacksons character in Dawsons Creek! Who didn't love Pacey Witter!

Sheryl has the most gorgeous eyes and I loved how much fun they had with each other during their session

I can't help it, I love a good romance story and whenever I asked Gareth about his proposal and how he knew he was ready, he just looked at Sheryl and said he knew.

Sheryl and Gareth head off on their travels in two weeks to Australia, Thailand and wherever else they can fit in over the next year or so. They're nervous to leave but very excited, and seeing them together and spending a brief hour in their company I just know they'll have an amazing time.
