Gary and Paula - Gorgeous wedding at the Belfast City Hall

Gary and Paula's wedding day was one of those rare events where I had to pinch myself that it was really happening. Gary and Paula have been together a long time. They got engaged in a helicopter flying over NYC a few years ago (I hope that's right, I may have been crying at this point in the speeches, like nearly every other lady in the room!) and then life surprised them with a gorgeous daughter Evie. And then with another, little Lottie. All plans of a wedding were lost over time. Until about 3 months ago when they just decided to go for it and plan a wedding in under a few weeks. This is where I had the fortune to be included and where my part of the
story begins...

Their ceremony was at Belfast City Hall and their guest list was intimate and filled with loved ones

Lottie

And Evie

I was photographing Gary and his guests walking to the ceremony room, when everyone who passed a window caught sight of something, then stood looking out and smiling

It was then I realised that Paula had arrived

I just want to say that out of the wedding dresses I have ever been fortunate to photograph, Paula's dress just blew me away.

Lottie and Evie walked their Mum down the aisle

Everyone sat down and the ceremony began and then suddenly, without any thought, Lottie and Evie stood up walked over to their Parents and held on to them as they married each other. Together.

Their reception was held at the Merchant Hotel.

We literally had 2 minutes before their meal and we snuck upstairs to the roof and shot these in the fastest time ever!!

Although my time with you on your big day was brief, thank you for letting me witness the gorgeous moments shared between you and your family xox
