Surprise for Matt...

It was Matt's birthday a few weeks ago and my sister wanted to get him something special, so amongst other things, she decided to get a favorite picture of theirs framed as a surprise.
The picture in question was this one...

It was taken back in March when I joined them for a days surfing at the Antrim Coast and the photo itself was taken rather sneakily! I was already back in the car getting warmed back up, whilst Kirsty was attempting to try to get out of her wet suit but was freezing, so Matt chucked a towel around her and gave her a hug to warm her up! I spotted the perfect photo taking opportunity and snapped and it was only after I said, 'That'll be a great photo!' they had realised a picture had even been taken! I was surprised myself, seeing as it was taken from the back seat of a car, but it worked rather well don't you think?

So last night it came back from the framers, and before Matt saw it I took a quick snap of it! His reaction was brilliant (I only wished I'd caught it on camera now!) and he's now trying to figure out where to put it. But it was lovely to think that such a simple moment now outshines ever other moment of that day as it's now immortalised in a frame ;)

There's not a better photo I could think of as a gift. Such a sweet moment caught naturally!!! I would just melt if I received a present like this!!!!!!!!!
