First of all, last Friday I ended up going to Hannah and Andy's house (or to be precise, Andy's parents house - they were away for the weekend so Hannah and Andy were house and dog sitting!) and it was a great evening! Andy and his mate Pete cooked dinner for us and we ended up cracking open some wine. The view from Andy's parents house is just STUNNING, so I couldn't resist taking some photos!
We ended up playing Richard Hammond's Top Gear DVD game, and I hate to brag but me and Pete totally kicked Hannah and Andy's butt! So good was my evening that I ended up not going home until Sunday! So no mobile phone (i forgot my charger!) and no computer...glorious ;)
After getting home, Sunday afternoon was spent with my niece Darcey and it was great fun as we decided to take her across the road to the park and the beach for her first time paddling in the sea!
Tuesday evening I was back at Cheryl's photographing more beauty products for her catalogue which she hopes to release soon - I'm addicted to Burts Bee's stuff at the moment! And then back with Darcey on Wednesday, only this time we were baking buns and shortbread! I still never fail to be delighted when Darcey calls me by my name! I never really thought that being an auntie would be a great deal, but wow have I re-thought that! I just can't get enough of being around her at the moment! She's just a little genius!
Thursday was a catch-up day, and I'll admit that I spent most of it watching for a parcel delivery (The Wedding Album was to arrive this week!). In the evening I had a lovely catch up with my friend Gavin. I'd been telling him for a week about some great songs that he HAD to hear so he came round to hear them. Next morning I get a text to tell me that the last track had basically been on constant repeat on the way to work! LOVE it when that happens!
Friday was a big day because the album company told me that my album would arrive within 3 weeks and Friday was the '3rd week mark' and I really wanted it to arrive but really didn't think it was going to. I also had to go up to Belfast to meet Dad and I didn't want to go too far from the house incase it arrived, but I had no choice in the matter, but I'm so glad I went because I've bought a new camera and a flash!! I'm so excited! I wont get it till Wednesday but it's good to know that I now have a digital back-up camera for weddings, plus it's a better model than my current so I'm well chuffed. When I got home the album had not arrived and I was gutted. So we were sitting down to dinner when the doorbell rang, and I'm thinking it must be my sister, but it was my neighbour with a big brown box in his hands!!! I think I heard the words 'Delivered to the wrong address...' before I was grabbing it out of his hands (he was seriously lucky I didn't attempt to hug him too!) and shutting the door to run into the back room and open it!
So the album is here!!!!!!!! A Big Lovely Post coming soon to talk all about it ;)
