On the 16th May I had the pleasure of photographing Maggie and Lloyd's wedding, and it was at that wedding I met (very briefly) the very heavily pregnant Aine (sporting the coolest pair of killer heels I have ever witnessed!) and I met 'Peanut' who at that stage was Aine's over-due baby bump.
Two weeks later after an hours telephone conversation with Maggie, chatting (gossiping) about her wedding and honeymoon, she asked me if I would photograph her sister, her sisters husband and the newly born Poppy and I was overjoyed to say yes!
After getting our schedules together I got to meet the lovely Poppy. Here are some snaps from the session...

I'll never forget a moment during Maggie and Lloyd's wedding day, when I was off shooting them on their own, the videographer came with us and made a comment about fiery redheads - Maggie jokingly told him to watch himself, and then to his surprise I also told him to watch it, being a natural red head myself. Now, if I had hair like Aine and Maggie's, I would have gladly kept the colour and I just want to say that although I went the way of the blonde(ish) I am very grateful to Aaron and Aine for keeping the ginger gene going - long may we reign ;)
