Inspired

About 10 years ago, long before I'd thought too much about my photography I was visiting my lovely friend Chris. While I was there he showed me a book of black and white photographs that were taken of James Dean. Wow. I fell completely in love with them. Suffice to say I never forgot that evening.

10 years later after searching, I finally came across the book for myself and I was so excited and inspired. The photographer was of course Roy Schatt. The photographs he took are legendary.

You MUST check them out. In fact I'm pretty sure you will know the shots already, they are iconic.

Anyway, on a desperate need to air my head one chilly afternoon a few weeks ago, I convinced Mark to get back in front of my lens again and we tested some quick shots with Roy Schatt's shots very much in my mind. This is my absolute favourite.

Chris, you probably had no idea what you did by showing me that book all that time ago! Thank you xo
